11:30 a.m.
Start off with a short shopping trip to Bushel & A Peck to pick up your favorite locally sourced picnic lunch items.
12 p.m.
Have a picnic at the Whitewater Park shelter on the Maquoketa River and admire the sites and sounds of the largest Whitewater Park in Iowa. Photo time!
1 p.m.
Take a stroll on the river walk leading to downtown Manchester for locally owned stores and shops. There's something for everyone!
2:30 p.m.
Stop into RiverBend Pub & Grill to have a drink on tap and an appetizer while enjoying the outside deck overlooking the Maquoketa River.
3:30 p.m.
Head back to your car for a quick drive South to the Veteran's Memorial in Ryan that features a real Vietnam era Cobra Gunship Helicopter. Take a short walk to the Ryan Ball Park to view the World's Largest Umpire. Perfect picture opportunity!
4:30 p.m.
Before heading out, Cooper's Place will welcome you with a cold beverage or an afternoon snack! Be sure to view all of the Ryan History and Memorabilia while there.
